Our Approach

Nicole Crowder Upholstery is a modern furniture design and upholstery studio that designs custom furniture and soft furnishings. Nicole sources, concepts, and reupholsters modern furniture and mixes it with eclectic textiles from around the world.

The studio was established in 2017 in Washington, DC and is now based in Minneapolis, MN.  

 

She utilizes inspiration from fashion, art, music and architecture to create bespoke upholstered furniture and soft furnishings that not only enhance but activate an environment.

Nicole works independently to design, source and reupholster each piece of furniture and article of fabric by hand. The experience allows her to be meticulous and detailed with executing each signature piece.
