Shipping

Nicole Crowder Upholstery currently ships to any location within the continental U.S. Delivery time can take up to four weeks. As a small and independent operation, we unfortunately do not offer rush delivery at this time.

All chairs are wrapped in-house and shipped via FedEx or via our in-house team of certified delivery drivers. Nicole Crowder Upholstery is not responsible for any damages to your item that may have occurred once the item has left the studio. To receive a quote for international shipping, please inquire at crowder.nicole@gmail.com prior to placing your order.

Local purchases within D.C, Maryland, and Virginia can be arranged to be picked up in person or via door-to-door delivery. Please note: a delivery fee will be quoted prior to coordinating your delivery day.

Return Policy

Nicole Crowder Upholstery strives to ensure each item is designed and delivered to you with the utmost quality and care.

Nicole Crowder Upholstery is not responsible for any damage caused to furniture that occurred once it has left the studio or during shipping either to or from the studio. Nicole Crowder Upholstery does not insure furniture that is shipped or delivered to and from the client or the studio.  Clients are responsible for making sure their items are insured accordingly.

Reimbursement Policy for Commissioned Work

Nicole Crowder Upholstery does not reimburse full amounts already paid for work completed. 

Nicole Crowder Upholstery does pay for projected costs that clients may incur to have a commissioned item re-upholstered by a separate upholsterer if they have decided they are not 100% satisfied with the finished product. 

Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits cover, but are not limited to, the following expenses: pick up costs, a holding fee to reserve client's project among the studio's workload, cost of sourcing and purchasing fabric, swatches, and materials, consultations.

If a client has already paid a 50% deposit and later decides to discontinue their project for any reason, the deposit still stands and is non-refundable. 

If a client is dissatisfied with the final product of their upholstered project, the most they are able to receive in return is 50% of the deposit amount. Please note: Nicole Crowder Upholstery reserves the right to review and dispute any reasons for a client wanting to return, re-do a commissioned item, or request a portion of their deposit, prior to a a refund being reissued.
