Introducing “Ivy” the first of eight bespoke chairs custom upholstered as part of my returning body of work “The 8 x 8 Collection”.
This collection, reflects multiple meanings, including my affinity for using lines and geometric patterns in upholstery. The nature of their repetition is grounded in a kind of ritual, as they guide the eye to travel with more ease. This collection is a product of standing not adjacent to self but becoming aligned with.
“Ivy” has been designed in a lime faux croc skin and white and black geometric fabric on a walnut frame.
